Dropship Your Way To eBay Success
by Tim Knox
Dropshipping has been around since Sears first started selling goods from its mail order catalogs over a hundred years ago. However, the idea of dropshipping still confuses many people who don't understand exactly how the process works. Learn more

Do I Really Need A Business License and Tax ID?
by Tim Knox
I've gotten quite a few emails recently from ebusiness owners who
seem to think that just because their business is conducted online or from the comfort of home that the rules and regulations that govern brick and mortar businesses do not apply to them.
The ebusiness questions I get most often do not involve building
websites or conducting ecommerce... Learn more

eBay Title Writing Tips
by Kirsten Hawkins
Trying to be help your buyers find your auctions can be a truly daunting task. Most people only search eBay by title, not by description, and that means that you only have those 55 characters of the title to cover all the possible search terms. That’s not easy. Selling Digital Downloads Via eBay Classifieds Is Still A Crap Shoot
by Tim Knox
Last week I told you that eBay had decided to ban the sale of digital downloads via its traditional auction system. Recycled boxes and packaging materials are fine as long as they are in good condition. Learn more

Four Huge Mistakes Ebay Sellers Make
by John Reese
Over the last seven years, I’ve been making a great
living buying and selling products on eBay and other
online auction sites, and I’ve perfected a technique
that pretty much guarantees anyone can start making a
profit right away. That technique starts with avoiding
mistakes like these -- mistakes I’ve seen people make
every day for those same seven years. Learn more

What Else Belongs on Your eBay Shipping Box?
by Kirsten Hawkins
The quickest answer I feel I should give to this question is this: not your handwriting! Scrawling addresses on boxes with a pen is extremely amateurish, and you shouldn’t do it. Print your own labels instead. But what should you put on them? Learn more

Taxing eBay Part Deux
by Tim Knox
Several folks argued that just because their little eBay hobby generated a little cash, that didn’t make it a full blown business. It seems they consider the income from their little hobby to be financial manna from Heaven and thereby not taxable by earthly tax collectors. I’ve always been amused by folks who try to impress me with talk about their “little side business” but when the subject turns to taxes they suddenly refer to it as “my little hobby.” Learn more
